Key Ingredients & Scientific Studies

Sourcing is our priority, formulation our expertise. Each ingredient has been selected for its quality and recognized nutritional role, based on numerous scientific studies (some active ingredients are patented). A clean formula, without superfluous ingredients or controversial additives.

Turmeric

Originally from India, turmeric is a pillar of Ayurvedic medicine, but it is now used worldwide. Traditionally used to support digestion and contribute to digestive comfort, turmeric also supports the liver. [1]

Several scientific studies have also shown that curcumin, the major curcuminoid present in turmeric, could play a positive role in liver health. [2,3]

Milk thistle

Originally from the Mediterranean Basin, milk thistle is a plant traditionally used to support liver function. [1-3] Its benefits are mainly attributed to silymarin, a compound present in its seeds, which may play a major role in liver protection. [4-6] Silymarin is also known for its antioxidant properties, which support the fight against free radicals. [5]

Dandelion

Often referred to as a "weed," dandelion (or "Lion's Tooth") is a medicinal plant recognized since antiquity for its draining properties. [1,2]

Dandelion is one of the pillars of our Detox cure for its targeted actions: beyond its traditional use, dandelion is widely documented in scientific literature for its biological properties:

  • Support for elimination functions:Research and health monographs [3,4] highlight the value of dandelion in supporting urinary and renal elimination functions, thereby participating in the body's natural drainage process.
  • Hepato-biliary sphere:Scientific literature suggests that the active ingredients in dandelion may play a positive role in supporting liver health and digestive comfort by promoting lipid metabolism. [5]

By incorporating a concentrated dandelion extract into our Detox cure, Boome relies on the traditional uses of this plant to support your body's natural purification functions.

Lactobacillus crispatus

A strain very commonly found in the dominant vaginal microbiota,Lactobacillus crispatus plays a key role in the balance of the female intimate flora. [1] Like most lactobacillus strains, it produces lactic acid, which helps maintain a physiological vaginal pH, thus limiting the development of pathogenic bacteria. [1]

One study suggested that oral supplementation with L. crispatus orally could be beneficial for intimate comfort. [2] Other studies have shown that L. crispatus could play a positive role during pregnancy. [3]

Lactobacillus rhamnosus

Several studies have highlighted the benefits of Lactobacillus rhamnosus throughout the maternity journey. One study showed that supplementation with L. rhamnosus could have a beneficial effect on emotional well-being. [1] In combination with other strains such as L. reuteri, L. rhamnosus could have a positive effect on the balance of the vaginal and rectal microbiota. [2]

Bifidobacterium longum subsp. infantis

Bifidobacterium longum subsp. infantis is naturally present in the gut flora. One study suggests that a 30-day supplementation with 1 billion B. infantis per day could support intestinal well-being. [1] Another study, conducted on 42 people, showed that supplementation with 1 billion B. infantis per day could contribute to intestinal well-being. [2]

Detox and Probiotics: the complementary duo

Detox cures and probiotics are natural partners. Detox plants (milk thistle, dandelion) contribute to normal liver function¹,⁴, while lactic ferments help balance intestinal flora³. Preserving digestive comfort and supporting intestinal balance are two important elements before starting a course of food supplements. The intestine plays a central role in nutrient assimilation. Taking care of this balance can be a useful first step before any supplementation.

FAQs

When should I start the Reset pack?

  • Outside of maternity journey, a detox is generally beneficial during major seasonal changes, after periods of excess, or during a naturopathic protocol aimed at supporting the body. You can start your cleanse at any time. Ideally, after dietary overload or if you experience discomfort. For our Probiotics, you can also take them daily as soon as you feel the need.
  • During a maternity journey, it is important to promote a healthy internal environment, especially through a detox before getting pregnant. If you have started Detox and find out you are pregnant, you must stop the Detox cleanse and switch to our pregnancy vitamins. You can continue your Probiotics.

If you are planning a pregnancy, discover our range of fertility food supplements.

I forgot to refrigerate my probiotics, is this serious?

To best preserve the effectiveness of your Probiotics, it is recommended to keep them in the refrigerator as soon as you receive them. Don't worry about transit time, the strains are formulated to remain stable during shipment.

✨ Key advantage: Unlike most probiotics on the market, our products are kept refrigerated from their production until their shipment. This requirement ensures vibrant probiotics and optimal effectiveness.

If you forgot to refrigerate them, they are still consumable. However, keep in mind that heat accelerates the gradual decrease in probiotic viability and thus their effectiveness. To continue to fully enjoy their benefits, it is best to refrigerate them as soon as possible!

Is the Conception cure compatible with Detox?

Detox is the first step of our preconception protocol, and should be taken a few months before trying to conceive. We do not recommend combining it with the Conception Pack as its purpose is to help the liver cleanse your body.

Can I take my Detox food supplement if I'm not planning a pregnancy?

Absolutely, this detox cure is suitable for everyone. Support for hepatic (liver) functions¹ and elimination functions¹ is beneficial for anyone wishing to assist their body in its natural purification processes¹. By supporting your terrain, you support a healthy internal environment, an essential pillar of your optimal health and overall vitality.

You can consult our detox user guide to learn how to do it properly.
